Local Candidate Information

There are important residency requirements for local candidates, so please review the Wisconsin Candidate Eligibility rules. Some local offices are considered partisan where candidates run representing a political party. Other local offices are non-partisan meaning candidates don't run as a member of a political party. Local offices have always had political and partisan leans and issues; however, those components have increased in recent years.
