(Brookfield WI) – The Republican Party of Waukesha kicked off the 2026 election season
with the February edition of “Pints and Patriots” (formerly Pints & Politics) at The Clubhouse
in Brookfield. The venue was full, with over 100 attendees hearing from incumbents and
candidates alike.
County party chairman Terry Dittrich opened the festivities while State Senator Julian
Bradley introduced State Reps Barb Dittrich, Adam Neylon, Dave Maxey, Jim Piwowarczyk,
and Scott Allen who is running for Mayor of Waukesha. Speaking of mayors, Steve Ponto of
the city of Brookfield was there as well. Candidate for Wisconsin Attorney General Eric
Toney spoke following a spokesman for Wisconsin Supreme Court Maria Lazar. Also
introduced were candidates for school boards in the area, county supervisors, and
municipal positions.
“The room was energized like we have not seen in a long time,” said Chairman Dittrich. “We
are all excited for the successes we are prepared to bring to these incumbents and
candidates,” added Dittrich.
