While Wisconsin Republican leadership was playing "checkers", the Democrats were playing "chess".  The net result is a significant change in legislative maps and the potential to lose a comfortable majority in Madison.  The secondary issue is how the Democrats have manipulated these maps to wreak havoc among incumbent Republicans.  Looking at the 22nd Assembly district as an example gives us a Constitutional Conservative incumbent Brandtjen who is being challenged by displaced Republican Senator Dan Knodl.   This scenario will be repeated as Republicans challenge Republicans, instead of forcing Democrats to answer for their destructive choices.
