For Circuit Court Judge
Jack is an attorney with the Labor and Industry Review Commission. In this role, Jack reviews appeals of Administrative Law Judge decisions on issues of workers' compensation, unemployment insurance among other worker employer disputes. At the direction of the commission, Jack drafts decision memos and commission rulings.
Prior, Jack served the people of Wisconsin as the Division Administrator for Gaming. As the Administrator he managed a team of 25 that oversaw Non-profit Gaming and Indian Gaming in Wisconsin, a $16 billion industry that creates over $50 million in revenue for the State. The Division was in frequent litigation with Wisconsin Tribes over provision of the gaming compacts keeping Jack’s litigation skills sharp.
Prior to joining the State, Jack managed litigation at General Casualty for 12 years, and prior spent four years in private practice at a litigation firm in Milwaukee.
He also serves in the Wisconsin National Guard as a Major in the Judge Advocate General Corps. He has deployed to the Middle East three times, over 40 months on Active Duty. As a JAG he has handled criminal law issues (prosecuting sexual assaults/rapes), federal fiscal law, estate planning, and international law.
Jack has served in quasi-judicial roles that includes serving as a probable cause hearing officer for felony cases in the Army. He was recently appointed to the City of Oconomowoc Board of Review. He also was a long time member of the Milwaukee County Election Commissions hearing complaints and reviewing compliance with election laws for the entire county. He was a supporting member of the Waukesha County Board of Canvassers for the Presidential recount in 2016.
Jack has volunteered his time as a member of the Waukesha Republican Party, Oconomowoc VFW and American Legion serving on the executive boards of all three groups. Jack has been active in countless other community organizations throughout Southeast Wisconsin.
He and his wife live in Oconomowoc with their their two grade school-aged girls.
