We desperately need your
I know it is hard to believe but
the election is not over!
We won but now they have filed for
a recount. The recount must be complete by December 13, 2016.
I know you all have worked above
and beyond on the election already and that is why we won.
I know that Christmas is rapidly
approaching but imagine a Christmas if they steal the win from us! There are a
number of ways you may be able to help.
First of all, if you are an experienced poll worker or chief inspector
please consider contacting the Waukesha County Clerk,
to offer assistance.
It is possible the recount could begin as early as 9:00 am this coming
Thursday. The County Clerk expects to be operating seven days a week and for a
minimum of 10 hours per day.
anticipated that the County will pay tabulators $10/hour and will need at least
24 tabulators per session. The Wisconsin Elections Commission recommends that
where possible that election inspectors who worked the polls that day serve as
Secondly, there may be a need for volunteer observers
both in Waukesha County and other counties in our area. If you are interested
